November 13, 2024, In my President’s Report at last night’s November Board of Trustees meeting, I shared some reflections about the post-election impact on students from marginalized communities. I want to share these comments, plus some expanded thoughts on the District’s response and communication for supporting students and the broader SRJC community.
November 8, 2024, As we approach the weekend, I want to remind you that all Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC) sites will be closed on Monday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day. More importantly, I want to take a moment to honor and express deep gratitude to the veterans in our SRJC community.
November 7, 2024, Regardless of our political beliefs, we all share a commitment to the mission that unites us as an institution of higher education. It is in our humanity where we can find a way forward, rooted in our values.
October 18, 2024 - In abundance of caution, SRJC evacuated the Call Child Development Center on the Santa Rosa Campus at 10:17am, due to police activity in the area. By 11:34, the police activity near the Call Child Development Center was cleared and the area deemed safe.
August 30, 2024, All Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC) sites will be closed on Monday, September 2nd, in observance of the federal holiday, Labor Day.
