April 18, 2024, SRJC is celebrating our classified professionals throughout April, recognizing and honoring them for their commitment and contributions to our college community.  

April 12, 2024, At today’s College Forum, I announced a call for participation in a District wide IDEAA Taskforce in response to College Council’s recommendation to create this advisory group at their March 7th and April 4th meetings.

I want to unequivocally affirm Santa Rosa Junior College’s commitment to building inclusivity and belonging among our students and employees.  


January 17, 2024, Over the past 18 months, SRJC has engaged in extensive work ensuring the college maintains its accreditation status with the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC).

January 16, 2024, As you plan your time at SRJC for the spring semester, please note there are several construction projects underway on the Santa Rosa campus that may impact your normal routes. Please allocate additional time to find parking, navigate to new buildings, and access walkways.  

January 8, 2024, It is with a heavy heart I share that on December 21st, retired teacher, administrator, principal, and former SRJC Board of Trustee member, Carole Ellis passed away. 

December 19, 2023, I’m pleased to share that the SRJC Older Adults Program will now be known as SRJC Lifelong Learning.  

December 18, 2023, As we near the end of 2023, I want to thank you all for the remarkable work you have done this year. It has been an honor to serve as your Superintendent/President since July and I am grateful for the welcome you have shown me during my first semester at SRJC.  

November 30, 2023, I am pleased to announce that I will be recommending Dr. Molly Senecal as the new Vice President, Student Services, for Santa Rosa Junior College. Pending approval from the Board of Trustees at the December meeting, Dr. Senecal’s first day will be Monday, January 8, 2024.

November 28, 2023, After learning about the needs of Human Resources, as well as the District as a whole, I have identified the next steps to support the leadership and operations of Human Resources, which include an Interim Vice President of Human Resources and an additional consultant to conduct an assessment of processes and points of interaction within the department of human resources, as well as extensively throughout the district.
