February 11, 2025, Santa Rosa, CA – Santa Rosa Junior College Theatre Arts proudly presents the acclaimed musical, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, opening Friday, February 28, 2025, at the Main Stage Theatre in Burbank Auditorium. This witty and heartwarming production will run through March 9, offering audiences a delightful mix of humor, competition, and heartfelt moments.
The story follows six quirky and ambitious middle schoolers as they battle for the championship title at the Putnam County Spelling Bee. The contestants navigate the rollercoaster of adolescence while showcasing their unique talents and insecurities. With its sharp humor and touching moments, this energetic Tony Award-winning musical celebrates the joy of individuality, resilience, and self-discovery.
Directed by Reed Martin, with music and vocal direction by Nate Riebli and choreography by Allissa Dolcini, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee promises an unforgettable theatrical experience filled with laughter and surprise.
