August 4, 2022, Santa Rosa, CA —Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC) is starting the fall semester with the annual Welcome Day in person. This year’s event is focused on rebuilding connections and All SRJC students and staff are invited. Welcome Day will take place Thursday, August 11, from 10 a. m. to 1 p.m., simultaneously, at the Santa Rosa and Petaluma Campuses. Welcome Day is also planned for the SRJC Southwest Center on Saturday, September 10.
The Welcome Day event is a place to find community and have fun. Meet SRJC staff and students. Play lawn games and visit Resource Fair tables to get information on the many resources available through the College and its partners.
“Welcome Day 2023 will gather the entire SRJC community together. This is a long-awaited opportunity for faculty and staff to engage with and welcome our students back to campus and to reconnect with colleagues who we haven’t seen for months. This year’s event is all about making our students feel welcome and revitalizing the rapport we have with co-workers. It will be good to be together again!”
Free lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., while it lasts.
Parking is free.
Through special approval, proof of vaccination is not required for the outdoor event. Entry into buildings for other purposes will require following the regular check-in process.
