Construction Impacts for Santa Rosa Campus

February 13, 2024 - UPDATED

As you plan your time at SRJC for the spring semester, please note there are several construction projects underway on the Santa Rosa campus that may impact your normal routes. Please allocate additional time to find parking, navigate to new buildings, and access walkways.

The Lindley Center for STEM Education will open on Tuesday, January 16, for Spring 2024 semester classes. Due to the weather and the planned demolition of Bech Hall, some fencing will remain and will slowly be eliminated. There are multiple ADA compliant routes to access the Lindley Center with elevators located in the center of the building:

From Bech Parking Lot (western approach): The western entrance of the Lindley Center can be accessed via Lark Hall then turning northward to Baker Hall. From Baker Hall, students can walk north through the STEM Quad towards the Lindley Center. Please watch out for signage in the Bech Lot indicating the walk path at Lark Hall. (Individuals are discouraged from crossing Elliott Avenue due to traffic impacts).

From Kunde Hall (northwestern approach): Individuals can cross Elliott Avenue at Albany Avenue to access the western entrance of the Lindley Center from Kunde Hall.  (Please note that nearly all STEM classes will be held in the Lindley Center).

From Emeritus Hall (northeastern approach): Individuals can cross Elliott Avenue near the southwest corner of Emeritus Hall. From there, walk westward along Elliott Avenue to enter the Lindley Center at the eastern entrance.

From Zumwalt/Bailey/Analy Hall (southeastern approach): Individuals can access the Lindley Center from the eastern entrance by walking north along Scholars Way past Bussman Hall.

Fencing has been installed around the perimeter of Tauzer Gymnasium, to ensure the community’s safety during construction. The fencing will remain for the renovation project (estimated through 2025).

A pathway for C-Lot/Quinn Parking Lot users is now open along the west side of Bailey Field, using the walkway and track. It can be accessed near the food kiosk on the north end, and from C lot on the south end. This walkway will be open from 6:30 am-11 pm..

Parking is also available in the Zumwalt Parking Pavilion for C/Quinn Lot users.

Thank you for your patience and continued support of our Measure H projects.
