Exchange Bank - 2018 President’s Medallion Recipient

Since 1918, Exchange Bank has been a loyal supporter of education and has played a significant role in the century-long success of the College, its students, and our entire region.

Exchange Bank’s lead challenge gift for the SRJC 100th Anniversary Campaign has resulted in matched contributions exceeding $8 million. The Bank’s immediate response and financial assistance helped hundreds of SRJC students stay in school after they lost everything in the 2017 North Bay wildfires. Exchange Bank’s spirit of generosity is evident in the Bank’s strong culture of giving and community involvement with contributions to more than 300 charitable organizations and non-profits each year.

The extraordinary relationship between Exchange Bank and Santa Rosa Junior College was forged in the early 1900s when the Bank’s co-founder and longest-serving president Frank Doyle and his wife Polly joined with other determined community leaders to establish a local junior college. When he died in 1948, Frank Doyle left a perpetual legacy beyond measure. In the past seventy years, the Frank P. Doyle and Polly O’Meara Doyle Scholarship Fund at Santa Rosa Junior College has provided $85 million to the scholarship fund to assist more than 127,000 local students attending SRJC.
