Dear SRJC Community, 

We continue to work with Ellucian and our implementation partners to resolve Banner issues and improve system functionality. This week’s update highlights progress across our five priority areas, with resources focused on preparation for the start of Spring 2027 registration.  

1. Financial Aid 

Financial aid remains a priority, and there are no new financial aid-specific updates this week. 

2. Enrollment 

Work continues on conditional add/drop, prerequisite and transfer-grade validation, and the priority registration rules engine. We applied fixes for the Drop Report and EMLS placement, and they are awaiting SRJC validation. 

3. Spring Registration 

The Spring 2027 VTEA Survey configuration and related automation steps are complete. Testing with the Registrar is underway, with SRJC validation to follow.  

4. Integrations 

Work continues on DegreeWorks-to-Banner education plans, the CourseLeaf CLSS API, and catalog course-load data. The team is retesting the education-plan process before moving to production, while API corrections and data-load validation remain in progress. 

5. User Experience and Accessibility 

The Faculty Load Experience Card is awaiting SRJC validation before moving to production. The Faculty Load History Report has been reopened and requires an additional field and follow-up testing.
