Dear Colleagues,  

We have been informed that a protest is scheduled ahead of tonight’s women’s volleyball game against American River College. The protest is expected to begin around 5:30 p.m. outside Haehl Pavilion on the Santa Rosa campus and may continue throughout the game.    

We recognize that these subjects may raise strong feelings and differing perspectives. As a college community, we are committed to ensuring a safe and respectful environment for students, employees, and visitors at all times. 

If you plan to attend the game and are approached by media regarding the District’s response to the protest or related topics, please direct them to the Public Information Officer (PIO) at spew@santarosa.edu.   

If you are not attending the game, please be aware that there may be increased activity near the area this evening. A response team will be present to help ensure the well-being of our community.
