Dear Colleagues, 

SRJC has been celebrating our classified professionals throughout April, recognizing and honoring them for their commitment and contributions to our college community.  

I am grateful the Board of Trustees approved Resolution #4-24 at the February Board of Trustees meeting recognizing the third week of each April from this time forth as “Classified Professionals Recognition Week”. We will celebrate our colleagues tonight at the annual Raoul Yriberri Memorial Dinner & Awards Night, where we will honor these remarkable professionals and their commitment to providing the best educational experience for our students. I hope to see you there, or at the Classified Appreciation Reception in Petaluma on Tuesday, April 23rd at noon. 

Classified professionals deserve our gratitude and appreciation not only this week though, but throughout the entire year. Since I joined SRJC last year, it has been a privilege to get to know our classified colleagues and learn more about how important their service and support are to our community and students.  

I am proud to work alongside each of you. Thank you for supporting our students, each other, and our community.
