From Nordic landscapes to cinematic soundtracks and choral works of unity and hope, these concerts highlight the incredible range of SRJC’s student and faculty musicians.

Embark on a musical journey through the breathtaking soundscapes of the Nordic lands. The SRJC Orchestra performs works by Sibelius, Grieg, Halvorsen, Groven, and Gade, featuring faculty pianist Rudolf Budginas in the first movement of Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 16.

Symphonic Band & Jazz Band: Epic Tales—Music from Film & Games

Step into a world of heroes, villains, and adventures as SRJC’s Jazz and Symphonic Bands perform exhilarating music from favorite films and video games. The Jazz Band opens with Thad Jones’ Big Dipper, Drew Zaremba’s Pistachio, and gamer and superhero favorites like Megalovania (Undertale) and The Incredibles. The Symphonic Band follows with music from Cuphead, Minecraft, and One Piece, alongside the triumphant Dam Busters March. This performance is dedicated in memory of Natalee Fisher—a celebration of music, storytelling, and community.
