April 14, 2026, Santa Rosa, CA —The Santa Rosa Junior College Fashion Studies program will present its annual student-run fashion show, The Equinox, on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at the Petaluma Campus Clocktower Plaza.

Produced entirely by students, this year’s show explores the theme of the equinox—the seasonal shift from winter to spring—and the balance of opposing forces. Through design, lighting, and immersive production, the show highlights the harmony between light and dark, structure and fluidity, and tradition and innovation.

“This year’s theme invites a dynamic range of creative expression,” said Show Director Valeria Silva. “It’s exciting to collaborate with so many designers bringing unique perspectives to life on the runway.”

The program will feature two acts representing darkness and light, along with original collections created by student designers. The event also includes the “Black and White” design challenge, where participants create garments using only black and white fabrics. Audience members will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite look.

The annual fashion show showcases the technical skills, creativity, and vision of SRJC students, offering the community a glimpse into the next generation of designers.

Tickets are $20 for general admission and $10 for SRJC students. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available on Eventbrite. More information is available at the SRJC Fashion Studies website.
