February 18, 2026, Santa Rosa, CA — Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC) invites students, employees, and community members to take part in Womxn’s History Month 2026, a month-long series of free educational and cultural events taking place throughout March. SRJC uses the term “Womxn’s History Month” to reflect a gender-inclusive understanding of womanhood that recognizes diverse identities and lived experiences.
The celebration brings together faculty, students, authors, and community partners for conversations, readings, and learning experiences that honor the achievements, leadership, and lived experiences of women across generations and communities. This year’s programming includes guest speakers, a campus-wide reading group, and a special collaboration with a local bookstore, with additional details to be announced.
“Womxn’s History Month at SRJC creates space for reflection, recognition, and meaningful Dialogue,” said Dr. Erica Tom, SRJC Womxn’s History Month coordinator. “Through these events, we celebrate the contributions of womxn while fostering connection and shared learning across our campus and the broader community.”
All events are free and open to students, staff, faculty, and the public. Event details, dates, and updates are available on SRJC’s Womxn’s History Month website.
Womxn’s History Month is part of SRJC’s ongoing commitment to equity, inclusion, and community engagement.
